A young, talented central defender has been linked to Celtic; in the meantime, Rangers are being pushed hard to sign an SPFL striker.
Rangers have received a strong recommendation to recruit a natural goalscorer who is now playing in the Scottish Premiership, according to today’s Old Firm transfer news. The former Light Blues player feels he might help Rangers’ center-forward problems.
A highly-rated central defender has been connected to Celtic, and they may make a bid for him in January. They are not the only team interested in this player, though. Will the Hoops be outwitted by their opponent, or can they get their man?
Message to Rangers: Sign Lawrence Shankland.
Lawrence Shankland, a striker for Hearts, has garnered the attention of former Rangers captain Lee McCulloch, who also predicted that if the Gers were to recruit Shankland, he would score “lots and lots of goals.”
McCulloch stated, “I think he is more than good enough to be starting for Rangers every week,” in an interview with PLZ Soccer on YouTube. He would probably score a tonne of goals. He’s a striker in the penalty box. Really, all I see is Shankland scoring goals for the Rangers each and every week. An excellent player with a positive outlook.
Nathaniel Adjei transfer linked to Celtic
Celtic’s roster has a number of strong centre defenders, including Liam Scales, Nat Phillips, and Cameron Carter-Vickers. However, it is believed that they have another interest, which is none other than Nathaniel Adjei from Hammarby.
Adjei has been linked to more teams than only Celtic, though; according to Sky Sports, Rangers and them may face off directly for the 21-year-old’s services. Adjei is reportedly attracting interest from teams in Belgium and Italy in addition to this.
November marks the conclusion of the Allsvenskan season, and Adjei will reflect on his choices. This might present an opportunity for any of the Glasgow teams to make an offer.
