One Celtic VAR snub defies

One Celtic VAR snub defies Monday Jury belief but was it worse than Rangers penalty howler?

It’s been a big weekend in the Premiership and the Monday Jury have all the big talking points covered.

What was your biggest VAR howler of Sunday’s games at Livingston and Celtic?

KEITH JACKSON: Ross McCausland was hit by both VAR calls, and neither call was accurate. However, the one that defied belief was the choice to not red card Slobodan Rubezic of Aberdeen for taking out Kyogo Furuhashi.

DAVID MCCARTHY: It’s strange that anyone in the VAR booth could have believed differently after watching what we saw on TV. The penalty that Rangers received for Ross McCauland’s dive should never have been handed.

CRAIG SWAN: Rangers’ opening penalty against Livingston was lenient and might have been easily overturned.

Michael Mannon: The goal at Livi that McCausland was denied. Sima never breathed sufficiently to rule it out throughout the build-up, and she seldom breathed at all down Montana’s neck. On the pitch, VAR ought to have fixed the error.
