AFC Wimbledon star coil on deal as future thrown into confusion.

After a collision of heads, the defender had to be substituted in the 37th minute of last Saturday’s victory over Salford City. Before leaving with a sizable Dons fan base on Saturday, our manager provided an update on Jack.

Johnnie remarked, “Jack got a nasty whack on the nose,” following training at Cherry Red Records Stadium. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to play through it. He barely participated in any of the training this week, and he’s still quite bruised and sore, so we’ll assess the situation and decide what to do next.

Johnnie provided an update on two of his midfield players as well.

Johnnie stated, “Harry Pell is still going to be missing for the weekend due to a calf injury.” “He is making progress, but in terms of the season, time is running out. We’ll have to wait and see if he plays in the final two games, but he will miss out.

“Morgan Williams (back) hasn’t been able to participate in any of the sessions yet, but he has done some light work on his own and with the sports science boys and physios.”

Our manager is overjoyed that Omar Bugiel, our forward who plays for Lebanon, has his future guaranteed as we travel to Wiltshire.

Johnnie stated, “By signing the deal and staying with us for two years, he’s made a big commitment to us, and we’ve made a big commitment to him with the offer that we made.” “We’re very happy to have finished that one.

For the past few weeks, we had been talking about it, and we had had some excellent discussions. I’ve been aware of his desire to participate in our endeavours from the beginning. He loves being at this football club, and we both enjoy working together, so we have a great relationship.

Following the tragic announcement of Joe Kinnear’s death last Sunday, Johnnie also paid tribute to the man who had managed Wimbledon and played for Tottenham, Joe Kinnear.

When Joe managed Luton, Johnnie had the good fortune to play against one of his teams and get to know him on a few occasions. “I particularly recall that.

He was first and foremost a perfect gentleman. There really is no comparison to what he accomplished for this football team. We all had happy memories of Joe and the football team, even though it was a sad day overall.

“We offer his family our deepest sympathies.”
