Championship side Oxford United have agreed a deal with AFC Wimbledon to sign defender Jack Currie, the South London Press understands.
The 22-year-old has been one of the most consistent defenders in League Two since being handed his EFL debut by Johnnie Jackson in July 2022.
Ex-Eastbourne Borough loanee Currie has featured 95 times for the Dons in all competitions and picked up five goal contributions.
Wimbledon took up the option on Currie’s contract at the end of last season to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Oxford, who have been long-standing admirers of the full-back, won promotion to the Championship last season after beating Bolton 2-0 at Wembley in the League One play-off final.
