Special guests confirmed! Welcome back in the Dons*

For our next home game on Saturday, we’ll be joined by two special guests who made significant contributions to Wimbledon.

Jason Euell and Mike Kelly were Dons heroes at opposite ends of the pitch and in Wimbledon eras decades apart, but both are warmly remembered by supporters, so we’re delighted that they will be here at the weekend.

Both former players will join us in hospitality, chatting to Dons fans upstairs in the lounges, and we’ll be presenting Jason and Mike on the pitch before the game.

Forward Jason progressed through Wimbledon’s youth ranks to the first-team and banged in the goals at Premier League level, before departing for Charlton Athletic. However, that was far from the end of his Wimbledon association as he returned in 2012 to play a part in the Club’s first season back in the league and in more recent times he featured in a charity match at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Mike was Wimbledon’s goalkeeper between 1958 and 1966, the highlight of his time here being our FA Amateur Cup Final win at Wembley in 1963. He then went onto QPR and even had a stint as England Goalkeeping Coach from 1984 and 1990.
