After being excluded from the team the previous weekend due to disciplinary issues, winger Mark Telea is back in the starting lineup for New Zealand’s World Cup semifinal matchup against Argentina on Friday.
Coach Ian Foster made two changes to the starting lineup for last Saturday’s thrilling quarterfinal match in Paris, including the addition of Telea. Ireland was defeated 28–24.
According to New Zealand media, the winger’s exclusion or infraction of team rules came about as a result of him missing a team curfew.
Foster said during a press conference on Wednesday, “Mark has served his time, he made a mistake and has accepted that and we are not lingering in that space.”
We have a great deal of faith in Mark because he has been our regular winger.
Leicester Faingaâanuku, who was his replacement last Saturday, was left off of the matchday squad after scoring a significant early try against the Irish.

“We have never claimed to be favourites, and we are aware that Argentina is a challenging team with a unique style.” They have backs that like to run and open you, so the breakdown will be where we anticipate the struggle to take place the coach said.
We are aware that we need to do better than we did the previous week. We are aware of what Argentina has done to us in the past, therefore the team with the better record on the night wins.
