Aston Villa are keeping tabs with Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville, it has been claimed.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Villa is among the “many clubs” who are pursuing the Dutchman. Burnley made a £20 million offer for him in the summer, but he chose to remain with the team in spite of their drop to the second division.

After moving from Feyenoord, he was one of the nation’s rising talents when he arrived at Elland Road. Summerville is now a key member of Leeds, so the team is likely to thwart any interest.
He previously stated, when discussing his future plans: “I came to Leeds as an 18-year-old, and I really love it there. I shall never forget that moment. My birthday was 21 hours after that goal [against Liverpool]; it was the best birthday I could have asked for. I’m hoping for a quick return to the Premier League.”
