Injury Expert: Aston Villa player set to miss West Ham clash”

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Rajpal Brar, an expert on injuries, as a new exclusive columnist. He will provide his opinions on the Aston Villa injury situation every week.

Dr Rajpal Brar has announced that Aston Villa defender Alex Moreno will not play in the Premier League match against West Ham on 22 October.

As of right now, the left-back is still out, so Unai Emery’s team will have to wait a long for him to return.

Regarding his setback, Villa News was informed by Dr. Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist:

“Moreno had what appears to be a setback upon his return to group training.

The physical therapists would have gradually increased and decreased the intensity of his exercise.

It seems like the plan is for him to rejoin the team for training following the international break.

He won’t be available for this game, though, given his extended absence from practise.

Although Moreno has not played in the Premier League this year, his setback has caused him to miss more time in training.

He was Emery’s first choice at left-back until the previous campaign, but Lucas Digne has performed remarkably in his stead.

Emery will probably choose the Frenchman over Moreno even when he is healthy because he has shown he is a dependable player in a variety of situations.

In other Aston Villa news, Matt Law dealt Unai Emery yet another injury setback by announcing that a first-team regular won’t be practising for a few weeks.
