Ayr United FC employee who allegedly threatened to publish pictures and texts of a woman while she was employed there will face trial.
In response to a charge that he engaged in activity between January 2018 and May 2022 that caused the victim to feel afraid and alarmed, Cameron Robertson enters a not guilty plea.
According to the accusation, the 60-year-old kept in touch with her and sent her an excessive number of communications throughout the time he was employed at Ayr United’s Tryfield Place facility.
He allegedly followed the woman, glared at her, and threatened to reveal her texts and pictures.
At the Ayr Sheriff Court, Mr. Robertson, of Inverkar Road, entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
A four-year period of messages that were to be presented as evidence were completely disclosed and examined when the trial was previously postponed over Christmas.
On Monday, February 26, when he appeared in court once more, Mr. Robertson’s attorney confirmed he was still pleading not guilty.
