Overnight on Saturday, things worth five figures were taken from Ayr Local.
A corner store on Ayr High Street has had thousands of pounds worth of merchandise stolen from it.
After it was broken into overnight, Ayr Local was the scene of a police call at approximately 7.45 am on Sunday.
Investigations revealed that the value of the stolen goods from the store came to five figures.
The incident is still under investigation.
“Police received a report of a break-in to a shop on High Street, Ayr, which took place overnight,” a spokeswoman for Police Scotland stated at approximately 7.45 am on Sunday, March 24.
Investigations have shown that goods worth an estimated five figures were taken from the store.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 0864 of March 24, 2024. An investigation into the matter is ongoing.”
