On a busy commuter road close to Ayr, there was a three-vehicle crash that prompted the dispatch of emergency personnel.
Services are currently on the scene of an incident that happened during rush hour on the A77 southbound around Symington.
There is currently one blocked lane due to the collision. Regarding the status of those involved, no information has been released thus far.
A representative for Police Scotland stated:at approximately 1:30 p.m., we received a report of a three-vehicle collision on the A77, close to Symington.
“There are emergency services available. There is a southbound lane block.”
We have reached out to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service for their thoughts.
