Two weeks of daytime closures of an Ayr road are scheduled for carriageway resurfacing operations.
From July 29 to August 12, the C39 Doonholm Road will be closed every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It is anticipated that the road will be open during these hours, though actual operation will depend on the weather.
Access to emergency services won’t be impacted, and when it’s safe to do so, residents’, deliveries’, and pedestrians’ access outside the working zone will be preserved.
The Loaning, A79 Maybole Road, Ewenfield Road, B7024 Monument Road, B7024 Alloway, and vice versa will all be signed as alternate routes.
