NFL – The Baltimore Ravens are preparing to play their last game of the regular season this Saturday evening against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
If the Baltimore Ravens are already assured of finishing in first place in the AFC standings at the end of the 2023 regular season, certain players from the Maryland franchise could find other motivations to perform well in Week 18 And for many, these motivations will be financial since certain players on the team could reach thresholds set at the start of the season for the payment of an attractive bonus.
The first of these Baltimore Ravens players who could increase his wallet tonight is none other than Jadeveon Clowney. Arriving at the Ravens after spending the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, Clowney would be paid a bonus of $750,000 if he achieves at least 9 sacks in the season. Currently at 8.5 sacks, the defensive player only needs half a sack on Mason Rudolph to be able to earn his bonus.
On another note, on reception this time, Nelson Agholor will receive a bonus of $250,000 from the Baltimore Ravens if he reaches 400 receiving yards. He is currently only 58 short yards away from this total. Agholor could even further increase his bank account with an additional $500,000 if he manages to reach the 40 reception mark over the season. There are currently 30 receptions which seems too tight to make the bonus achievable.
Finally, Justice Hill could also be paid a substantial bonus at the end of this 2023 regular season. If the running back reaches the total of 500 yards rushing over the entire season, the Baltimore Ravens will pay him a bonus of $250,000. The runner therefore needs one last very big match against the Steelers since he is currently 113 yards short of this total.
