The defender is expected to sign a three-year contract with Bristol Rovers. Under the direction of former Exeter City and Rotherham United manager Matt Taylor, they are getting ready for another season in League One and are actively seeking to add more players.

The 27-year-old Moore has played football for Valenciennes in Ligue 2 for the previous 12 months. He is currently leaving France, though, in favour of going back to England and starting over there.

According to Football Insider’s most recent report on his condition, the Gas have emerged victorious in the race for his signature and will show up for a medical evaluation before to his transition to the Memorial Ground. There have reportedly been talks about a move with Barnsley, Wycombe Wanderers, and Wigan Athletic, however he has now made his mind up.

Bristol Rovers close in on deal

Moore will give Bristol Rovers more competition and depth in defence and would be a shrewd addition if they can get a deal over the line.

He then moved over to France for the first time for spells at Estaples and Lens.

Moore broke into the latter’s first-team as a teenager and played 10 times for them before Bristol City snapped him up in 2016.

He then spent seven years on the books at Ashton Gate and made 60 appearances for the Robins in all competitions before heading out the exit door last summer.
