Barrow AFC boss suffers critical condition

Pete Wild, the manager of BARROW AFC, stated that he is content to have a headache when choosing his weekend lineup after “a few players” impressed him in a reserve game held during the week.

It comes after the B team defeated Bolton’s B team at the Lostock Training Ground on Tuesday, thanks to a brace from Jamie Proctor in the second half, to retain their perfect Central League record.

Head coach of the B team Jason Taylor decided to field regular first-team starters Ben Whitfield, David Worrall, and Tom White in an attempt to field a strong side.

Proctor finally broke the score in a closely contested match when, in the 75th minute, he took advantage of a misdirected pass by goalie Jack Dallimore and rolled the ball into an empty net.

Ten minutes later, the 31-year-old retaliated against Bolton for not playing out of the back by coolly finishing a square pass from Owen Bray.

“It’s really pleasing to see our B team playing well,” Wild said, praising the B team’s performance.

Players can use this as an opportunity to stake their claim and gain entry into the team. We’re quite happy with the outcome and the way things are going.

A few players have advanced themselves into the running. A few of them performed exceptionally well. Selecting the appropriate team and squad for the upcoming weekend is crucial.

“This year, with a larger squad, we always have a headache. It’s advantageous that we must make these difficult choices.

Junior Tiensia played the entire ninety minutes to commemorate his comeback to the game.

Since October, the 23-year-old left back has not played due to a serious ankle injury.

Regarding Junior’s comeback to the field, Wild continued, saying, “It’s fantastic that he was able to play a full ninety minutes.”

“It’s great to see him back out there and in the fold, though I’m sure he would have been sore in the morning.”
