Raiders full-back BARROW Luke Cresswell anticipates a challenging test tomorrow at home.
Tomorrow afternoon, Paul Crarey’s team takes against the Salford Red Devils of the Super League at the Northern Competitions Stadium.
“We’ll need everyone to be ready for Salford this weekend,” Cresswell stated in an interview with the club’s official website prior to the match. They will undoubtedly give us a really competitive match that will help us in the coming year.
Cresswell is happy with the way everything has gone thus far, especially the way the new players have fit in with the team.
He continued, saying, “It’s funny to refer to the signings as new lads, because it really doesn’t feel like they are.”
Since we began in November, we have gotten along well, and everyone of them has contributed something unique.
“The preseason has proceeded as well as possible.
As a team, we have put in a lot of effort, and I believe that has reflected in the first few games. It’s definitely important to get a solid block of fitness in the pre-season, as when we start playing, the games will come thick and fast.
“It feels great to receive recognition for our efforts, as evidenced by our victories over Whitehaven (42-4) and Workington Town (24-12).” Despite changes, we have managed to maintain our current shape.
