New Beith man, 34, charged with murder and breaching domestic violence order after body found at Spikes Court, Arundel

Investigators in Arundel have accused a man from New Beith with murder and violating a domestic violence order following a discovery of a woman’s body in a backyard early yesterday morning.
The 34-year-old male was in the hospital last night under police guard.

The allegations against him will be brought before the Southport Magistrates Court today.

Before discovering the body, police claim they were summoned to the Spikes Court residence at 6.40 am to do a welfare check.

They located a male who is assisting with inquiries at a neighbouring residence.
