After being discovered in a Largs flat with hundreds of lewd pictures of minors, a BEITH man was spared from jail.
Between November 2, 2020 and June 30, 2022, Lennon Ferguson, 24, acknowledged having indecent photos or pseudophotos of children at a Nelson Street flat and other locations.
In addition, he acknowledged to having extreme pornographic photos on him at the same places between April 18, 2021 and May 11, 2022.
When police arrived at the address in Largs on June 30 of last year, they found the photographs.
Last year, when Lennon appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, specifics of the search were made public.
A cell phone that belonged to Ferguson—who is currently residing on Park Avenue in Beith—was found during the search, the procurator fiscal depute informed the court.
The phone was first searched before the pornographic photos were found, nevertheless Ferguson initially denied any involvement when interviewed by police.
