Police in fresh appeal after three cars set alight in Beith

Officers say their enquiries remain ongoing into the incident which took place on Acacia Drive on Wednesday, February 21.

Cops were initially called to the scene at around 6pm where three vehicles had been set alight. No injuries were reported from the incident.

However, officers have since established that the car was a five-door, white Vauxhall Corsa with a black roof and black mirror caps.

Detective Constable Craig Brougham said: “Now we have established a make of the car, I would ask anyone who was in the area around the time with dash cam equipment to get in touch with us

“It’s possible that pictures were taken, which could tell us more about the car and the people inside.
