A man was discovered deceased inside a house, and an arrest has been made.
At before ten o’clock on Tuesday, May 21, police were alerted to a complaint that a man in his 50s had passed away at an address on Beatty Avenue in Gillingham.
Yesterday (May 22), starting at 5 a.m., residents reported seeing about 15 officers, including forensics.
By 11 p.m., rumours have it, they were gone.
The cause of the man’s death is currently under investigation by the police.
Since then, he has been granted bail until the situation is looked into more thoroughly.
The deceased’s next of kin have been notified, and the coroner will receive a comprehensive report.
According to police, a guy in his 40s was taken into custody in relation to the event.
