Crystal Palace considering a transfer raid for Birmingham City

Jordan James of Birmingham City is the subject of Crystal Palace’s attention, as Talksport reports.
Dougie Freedman, the sporting director for the Premier League team, was present to observe the young player last weekend.

James scored a goal in Birmingham’s 2-1 victory over Sunderland, helping the Blues collect a crucial three points.

After Jack Clarke had given the visitors the lead in the first half, the 19-year-old levelled on the hour mark, and Koji Miyoshi’s goal in the 80th minute sealed the victory.
So far this season, in 30 Championship appearances, the playmaker has provided seven goals.
Intense transfer rumours around James also surfaced in January, with Atalanta of Italy attempting to sign him with several bids.

But Birmingham refused to back down, putting up an asking price of £10 million that the Bergamo club was unable to meet.

The young person is the most recent bright prospect to pass through the Midlands organization’s academy structure.
