Report: Birmingham City Boss to emerges with Blackburn Rovers deal..

According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, former Birmingham manager John Eustace is a contender to take over as Blackburn Rovers manager in place of departing Jon Dahl Tomasson.

After leading Blackburn Rovers for 18 months at Ewood Park, Tomasson appears set to leave the team. The Dane is currently in negotiations with Rovers authorities on his departure.

Eustace is reportedly high on Rovers’ wanted list of possible replacements. The team is now compiling this list.

After making an impression at Birmingham before being shockingly fired in October and being replaced by Wayne Rooney, Eustace is well-liked in the coaching community.

following managing Birmingham for 15 months, Eustace left the team in the top six of the Championship following 11 games.

After serving as a first-team manager for two seasons with the National League’s Kidderminster Harriers between 2016 and 2018, he took a full-time position at Birmingham.

He acquired experience as an assistant coach at Queens Park Rangers and the Republic of Ireland national team in between these positions.

If the 44-year-old is hired by the Rovers this week, he will return to his old team, Birmingham, on Tuesday night (February 13), when they play at St Andrew’s.

After losing 2-1 at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, February 3, Blackburn is now ranked eighteenth in the Championship. This is the team’s ninth straight league game without a victory.

Their next game is on Saturday afternoon, February 10, at Ewood Park, against Stoke City, who are currently in 20th place.
