After an outstanding start to the season, Blackburn Rovers are now ranked eighth in the Championship table.
Following their 1-0 victory over Leeds United at Ewood Park last time out, John Eustace’s team is now two points out of the playoffs. Todd Cantwell, an attacking midfielder, scored their game-winning penalty kick against the Whites.
According to their official club website, Dolan stated: “The results demonstrate the caliber of our team. Not just the caliber, but also our diligence. Because it’s a family out there, everyone is giving it their all for the manager and each other.
Everything depends on how hard you work. Although we don’t have the same resources as Leeds or the top teams in the Championship, we still put in the necessary effort to win games, as we did against Leeds.
“We have no limits, and our victories over two of the league’s best teams have given us a lot of confidence.” We simply need to continue, game after game. Despite being the underdogs this season, we have made it clear to the league that we are a formidable force.
After defeating already-promoted Leicester City on the road, Blackburn Rovers remained up late on the last day of the previous term.
In the summer, they lost their star player, Sammie Szomodics, to Ipswich Town, who were new to the Premier League.
But since then, the Lancashire team has been doing well under John Eustace, and the former Birmingham City player has performed admirably.
In addition to getting the most out of players like Sonde Tronstad and Dolan, he has successfully reintegrated Lewis Travis after his loan at Ipswich Town.
However, the latter’s contract expires in June of next year, and they must make a significant decision about his long-term future.
Since joining his current team in 2020, Dolan has grown to be one of their most valuable assets.
Out of his 180 games across all competitions, 16 have occurred this season, and he has contributed 21 goals and 18 assists.
He spent time as a young player at Preston North End, Burnley, and Manchester City before moving.
This weekend, Blackburn Rovers return to play as they travel to Hull City.
The Tigers currently without a manager and are in the bottom three.
