Medical booked as Blackburn Rovers agrees £1m deal to sign top tier star

Blackburn Rovers have started the season well with seven points from their opening three games.

John Eustace’s side remain unbeaten in the second tier so far this season and appear to have hit the ground running after their poor season last time out.

The club have had a big summer so far with a handful of new arrivals and some big names going the other way at Ewood Park.

Their business looks far from complete as things stand though and a new goalkeeper remains on the radar for Eustace.

Toth is the latest name linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers. Nixon claims the shot stopper is keen on the move and it would cost the club around £1m to do, which they are now set to seal.

Newcastle’s John Ruddy is also an option, but he is thought to be a riskier deal and Blackburn Rovers can’t afford to be turned down so late in the window.

This new interest in Toth comes after Rovers have seen Carl Rushworth and Mark Travers near deals with other clubs.
