After a lady in Blackpool was raped, police in the area provide an update and reissue their information request.The rape is said to have occurred at the promenade area, between the North Pier and the Blue Water Hotel, between 1:30 and 3:00 in the morning.
In relation to their inquiry, the police initially stated that they wished to speak with a tall, skinny Asian male in his mid-30s who was dressed in multicoloured flared trousers, a short sleeve shirt and a black Durag.
They have since excluded everyone who fits this criteria from their research, though.
“Yesterday we asked for information and footage following a report of a rape in Blackpool,” a Blackpool Police spokesperson stated.

“We’re still looking into it.”
Between 1:30 and 3:30 am yesterday, anyone who saw anything suspicious between the North Pier and the Blue Water Hotel can report it to the police by calling 101 and mentioning log number 0134 of May 16, 2024.
