Bolton Wanderers about to land Sign £350K-Rated International:

Bolton Wanderers are one of several clubs interested in signing Leyton Orient loanee Idris El Mizouni this month, according to the latest reports.

The East Anglian Daily Times have claimed that El Mizouni’s parent club Ipswich Town, currently chasing promotion to the Premier League, have rejected numerous bids for the midfielder already this month, although the clubs are not named.

El Mizouni has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Brisbane Road and has been an influential member of Richie Wellens’ squad which clinched promotion to England’s third tier last season as champions.

The 23-year-old was sent back out on loan at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign to Leyton Orient and has made 30 appearances for the O’s in his second spell at the club already, having worn the captain’s armband on occasion.

Despite signing for Ipswich Town in 2019, El Mizouni has played three times as many matches for Leyton Orient as he did with the Tractor Boys, but it still looks as though Ipswich are unwilling to let him leave this month.

Interestingly, El Mizouni has just six months remaining on his current deal but Ipswich do have the option in his contract to extend his stay by a further twelve months.

The former Grimsby Town star is currently worth £350k, as per Transfermarkt, but it’s yet to be reported how much it could cost a club like Bolton Wanderers to sign him permanently, ending his loan spell with Leyton Orient.

It’s quite interesting that Ipswich rebuffed six-figure offers for the Tunisia international despite the midfielder making merely 26 appearances in all competitions for the club in almost five years.

However, it seems as though the Blues believe that El Mizouni has a future at Portman Road, so perhaps suitors will need to up the ante to secure his services by the end of the month.
