According to The Bolton News, Bolton Wanderers are certain that loanee Paris Maghoma won’t be going back to Brentford in January.
Right now, Bolton Wanderers are playing really well. With six straight victories and a commanding lead in League One, they will be confident going into this evening’s match against third-place Oxford United.
Maghoma’s form has contributed to the amazing run. The midfielder has started the last three League One games and scored three goals during the team’s six-game winning streak in recent weeks, elevating his play to a new level.
The Bolton News now claims that the team is “currently confident” that the player won’t be called up by Brentford to rejoin the Premier League team in January.
An important participant in the promotion race
If Bolton Wanderers can hold onto Maghoma until the end of the season, it will be a huge benefit. The team must remain together for the remainder of the season as they are one of three teams vying for automatic promotion.
Without a doubt, Brentford will be watching how well Maghoma has been performing lately for the Trotters. But you have to believe that the Bees have plenty of options in midfield and won’t resort to stopping the talent’s development by sending it out on loan.
Bolton Wanderers could benefit from this, though, as teams may be eager to send Maghoma back after seeing how well he performed on loan.
