Dan Gore, a 19-year-old midfielder, is getting close to making a temporary move to League One team Port Vale, making him the EIGHTH player to depart Manchester United on loan this month.
Gore has made his debut in the first team for United this season, coming on as a substitute in the Premier League against Aston Villa and the Carabao Cup against Crystal Palace.
It is acknowledged, therefore, that Gore requires regular competitive games in order to advance.
In addition to Port Vale, Gore was also attracting interest from Blackpool, Shrewsbury Town, Bolton Wanderers, and Fleetwood.
During the January transfer window, United has already loaned away seven players.
