Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt warning to promotion of rivals*

Wanderers’ top 10 countdown starts today, and they haven’t given up on taking the top spot just yet!

For the past eighteen matchdays, Portsmouth has held the top rank; Ian Evatt’s team is the only one to have unsettled them since mid-September.

Although John Mousinho’s team has dominated Frankie Laine, Bryan Adams, and Wet Wet Wet with their run at the top of the charts, the league title is far from certain, and like Bolton, they have some intriguing matchups against their main rivals yet to play in the final stretch.

“At the moment, Portsmouth is in the best position, but they also have the most difficult run-in,” Evatt stated to The Bolton News. In the week that passes when you play regular football as we do now, a lot can happen. We have firsthand experience with it.

“Clearly, for us, it’s about concentrating on what we do and scoring points with strong performances. Everything else will sort itself out.

As a human, it is impossible to avoid glancing at other teams. However, I have informed the players that they must focus on representing our team in the last ten games, together with the staff and supporters.
