Memories of growing up in Bournemouth and Poole

We grew up in Poole and Bournemouth, and we recently started a new Facebook group dedicated to nostalgia.

You can share your memories of the region, which includes Wareham, Wimborne, Swanage, and Christchurch, in this group.

However, we want it to be a forum where you can talk about the things you liked best about the area. Additionally, if someone has recently moved here, there’s a place for them to see how the conurbation has changed.

Which of the seven historic pubs is your favorite?
As the group started, we asked our members to complete a sentence for us: When you can recall, you know you were raised in Christchurch, Poole, and Bournemouth.

And these were the some of the results.

  • Lava and Ignite/Circo and Elements/Zoo and the Cage/Clouds and Zigzags
  • The Hampshire Centre
  • Charlie’s Cars

  • Trolley buses
