Can Bournemouth beat the Major Premier League Club and earn its first victory of the year?

The fourth home matchup with a London club

The Cherries will host Liverpool in the fourth round of the League Cup following our 2-0 victory against Stoke City on Wednesday night. Dominic Solanke and Joe Rothwell each scored twice in the second half. On Saturday in the Premier League, AFCB is hosting our visitors, Arsenal, who are currently in fifth place, at Dean Court. This game, which will start at 3 p.m. as usual, will be challenging for our club.

AFCB will play its seventh Premier League match of the year this Saturday, and its fifth against a London team. Our opening three matches at Dean Court have been against West Ham, Spurs, and Chelsea. Last year, we suffered home losses to all three of them. We’ve gotten a point so far this season against West Ham and Chelsea while losing to Spurs, which is an improvement over last year. Last year, we suffered defeats away from home against Liverpool, Brentford, and Brighton. This year, we improved on that performance by drawing at Brentford.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, and Andoni Iraola are both natives of the Basque Country province of Gipuzkoa in northern Spain. At the amateur youth club Antiguoko, they used to play together. Unai Emery, the current manager of Aston Villa, and Julen Lopetegui, the former manager of Wolves who departed in August and was succeeded by Gary O’Neil, are two more managers who also hail from the same province.

Arsenal has defeated Everton and Crystal Palace 1-0 on the road so far this season. They have defeated Manchester United 3-1 and Nottingham Forest 2-1 at home.
