The Basque boss used all five available subs, with Dango Ouattara and Enes Unal stepping off the bench to grab goals and snatch a point from the Blades.
Ouattara replaced Milos Kerkez at left-back during the half-time interval, pulling one back before setting up Unal for the equaliser.
Winger Luis Sinisterra also made an impact after being brought on to replace Marcus Tavernier, whilst Iraola was pleased with the contributions of midfielders Alex Scott and Phil Billing.
Speaking with the Daily Echo about the subs, Iraola revealed:
We gained a lot of energy, I believe, from each sub we made.
I believe that we posed a threat from the outside, particularly in the second half with Ant (Antoine Semenyo), Dango and Sini (Luis Sinisterra), Adam (Smith), and Lew (Lewis Cook) on the opposing team.
