Here are the great activities Bradford City FC Foundation offers children….

The Bradford City FC Community Foundation was established in 1988 by the PFA with the primary objective of raising awareness of the Club and growing the fan base of BCAFC in the community.

Since then, former Bradford City player and professional footballer Ian Ormondroyd has laid the groundwork for what it is now.

For those who want to get involved in sports or work in the industry, they provide a range of programmes and training opportunities.

Boys and girls of all skill levels, ages 5 to 13, are welcome to attend the programmes.

Football, fun and activities are the main focus of the camps, and every member of our team has at least an FA Level 2 qualification, an upgraded DBS check and complete training in emergency assistance and safeguarding.

The seminars take place at the places and on the dates indicated below, every day from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Remember not to forget! Members of Junior Bantams receive 10% off holiday football camps offered by the Community Foundation!

BANTAMS TOTS

Children ages 3-5 can participate in daily football-based activities called Bantams Tots, which are held all throughout the city and nearby areas.

Children acquire fundamental movement and football skills as well as social skills and an understanding of colours, shapes, and rudimentary numbers through a range of activities, such as indoor arts and crafts during inclement weather.

PREMIER LEAGUE PRIMARY STARS

With its Premier League Primary Stars initiative, this curriculum motivates elementary school students in a variety of subjects, including teamwork, sports, reading, writing, and math.

Their coaches work in schools, offering 5 to 11-year-olds curriculum-linked PE, PHSE, numeracy, literacy, and enterprise resources.

All facets of PLPS can be provided to your school by BCFC Community Foundation, starting with PE and teacher assistance to help with school sport delivery, and then progressing to involve and motivate students in reading and numeracy.

Over the past several years, the project has shown to be incredibly popular, especially since it helps kids who wouldn’t often read to become engrossed in literature.

FOOTBALL EDUCATION PROGRAMME

Boys and girls are also given the chance to follow their passion for sports through the Community Foundation.

Both boys and girls who have dropped out of school and want to continue their education while still engaging in their passion for sports can apply for the Football & Education Programme.

The students are taught by two full-time teachers at our specially designed Education base, where they pursue a BTEC Level 3 extended Diploma in Sport.

This subject, which is comparable to three A-Levels, covers every facet of sport, including sports psychology, coaching, and sports science.

“It’s a fantastic course and base for anybody wishing to follow a career in sport and/or access to University,” says Matt Marshall, a football and education teacher.

THE HUB

The Northern Commercials Stadium is home to the new Community Hub that the Community Foundation has opened.

The Hub is situated on Valley Parade, close to the Club Shop, beneath the Community Foundation office.

The Hub will be open to schools throughout the week, when we will be conducting a range of curriculum-based and PHSE classes.

We provide the following courses to educational institutions:
