A railway line near Bradford which was forced to close due to a landslip is expected to remain shut for the next month, Network Rail said.
The line has been closed since 5 February when cracks appeared in an embankment close to the railway at Baildon.
Trains have been unable to run between Bradford Forster Square and Ilkley as a result, with operator Northern currently running bus replacement services between the two stations.
Network Rail said engineers were “working around the clock” to reinstate train services “as quickly as possible”.
Early estimations indicate the line could reopen in mid-March, the organisation said.
Network Rail’s Richard Owens stated: “We are aware that passengers are being inconvenienced by this incident.
“We are working to reopen the line as quickly and safely as we can and I encourage passengers to check their journey before travelling for the latest information, and thank them for their patience and understanding.”
