Police confirm two dead and two in critical condition in hospital after Fatal crash in Bradford

Two individuals lost their lives in an accident on an East Ardsley road on Sunday morning, according to police confirmation.

A fifth man is reportedly seeking medical attention, while two more guys are said to be in a critical condition.
Around 6.45 pm, a black Volkswagen Golf carrying five males collided with two other vehicles on Bradford Road.

Near the intersection with Woodhouse Lane, the Golf was heading away from the M1 towards Leeds when it collided with a silver Mercedes C220 and a black Ford Focus.

At the scene, two of the passengers in the back seat, ages 26 and 34, were declared deceased. The rear of the wrecked car was covered for a while with a yellow tarpaulin sheet.

The other three males in the Golf, who were 33, 25 and 17 years old, were brought to the hospital; West Yorkshire Police stated that the two elder men were in a “critical” condition.
Initial treatment was given to those from the other cars who had minor injuries, including the Mercedes driver who had a fractured wrist, in a nearby cafe.
After squeezing by unintentionally during the collision, the female pedestrian received shock treatment.

Until about 2:30 pm, Bradford Road was closed so that crash investigators could assess the situation.

“This collision has very sadly resulted in the deaths of two men, and the other occupants of the Golf are currently undergoing emergency treatment in hospital,” stated Detective Sergeant Alison Webb of the West Yorkshire Police Major Collision Enquiry Team.
