Brighton agree to change their manager

The most recent rumours and information regarding transfers involving Brighton & Hove Albion and other Premier League teams

Reports state that Julen Lopetegui has reached an agreement to take over as manager of West Ham.

In the unlikely event that current manager David Moyes departs the team, the 57-year-old former manager of Spain, Real Madrid, and Wolves is reportedly close to taking back the reins at London Stadium.
The 61-year-old Moyes has led West Ham since 2019. However, his contract with the team expires at the end of the current campaign, and he has declined to speak about it until after their final match, which is on May 19 against Manchester City.

The heavy defeat comes on the back of a 2-2 draw to Liverpool and 5-2 loss at Crystal Palace and they now sit ninth in the Premier League table with two games to go.

The Hammers, Europa Conference League winners last season, were also knocked out of the Europa League last month following a quarter-final loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

On the eve of the upcoming Premier League season in August, Lopetegui departed Wolves after leading the team to safety in the previous season.

During his tenure as manager, the former Porto and Sevilla manager brought Wolves up from the bottom of the table to a 13th-place finish.
