Sources: Brighton told £30m offer for Roony Bardghji likely to be accepted

According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, FC Copenhagen is prepared to demand a price of about £30 million for Brighton target Roony Bardghji.

On Monday, November 13, Football Insider disclosed that the 17-year-old is being targeted by the Seagulls.

Despite increased interest in the prodigy after his incredible season, Copenhagen is keen to keep him at Parken Stadium.

Brighton, like with many other elite European and Premier League clubs, are keeping an eye on the Sweden Under-21 international.

Bardghji is expected to fetch a fee of about £30 million from Copenhagen, with add-ons based on his enormous potential probably being added into any deal.

With a late winner in last week’s 4-3 Champions League triumph over Man United, the winger increased his profile (8 November).

That was one of 11 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Copenhagen this season as they target another Danish Superliga title.

The winger, who has already racked up 65 senior appearances, is out of contract in the Danish capital in December 2025.

Brighton face competition for Bardghji’s signature from top sides across England and Europe, but are confident they can offer him a quicker path to the first team given their penchant for developing young talent.

The Seagulls have already helped the likes of Moises Caicedo, Evan Ferguson and Kaoru Mitoma become big names in the Premier League after allowing them to break through.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are playing Europa League football this season and sit eighth in the Premier League table.
