Update on Pascal Gross’s injuries before the games against Aston Villa and Marseille

The Irish striker played only 45 minutes in Brighton’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday after missing Brighton’s Europa League match against AEK Athens last Thursday due to illness.

“Evan is good, he worked yesterday very well,” De Zerbi said. “We have to choose tomorrow.”

De Zerbi, who has made over 30 substitutions in Brighton’s last four games, is expected to tweak his squad once more before Thursday’s critical Europa League match against Marseille.

After sitting on the bench for Wednesday’s match at Chelsea, Lewis Dunk, Adam Webster, and Solly March will likely be inserted back into the starting lineup.
