Bristol City transfer have club chiefs disappointed Tommy Conway

With several players leaving Ashton Gate, Bristol City was a busy club throughout the summer as the Robins sought to improve on their mid-table result from the previous season.

The off-season’s most talked-about topic was the departure of teenage sensation Tommy Conway, who ended his 15-year relationship with his boyhood club by joining divisional rivals Middlesbrough for an estimated £4.5 million.

Though Yu Hirakawa brings another dimension on the sides, City made attempts to replace the frontman by bringing in players like Sinclair Armstrong, Scott Twine, and Fally Mayulu to contribute in the final third.

Ephraim Yeboah was another player to depart the team, albeit temporarily, as the young player signed a contract with League Two team Doncaster Rovers for the 2024–2025 season. The forward’s stay in Yorkshire hasn’t yet produced the desired results.

Although Yeboah has displayed his skills in brief appearances at Eco-Power Stadium, the 18-year-old has only made one start in League Two this season, with the other ten coming off the bench.

The only other times that the Bristol City loanee has been given the nod from the off has been in cup competitions, with two goals in the EFL Trophy proving he has what it takes to find the back of the net, when given the opportunity.
