, a striker for Motherwell, has attracted interest from Blackburn and Bristol City. Bair has scored 15 goals in his debut season in Scotland.
Both teams will be aiming to add Bair to strengthen their hitting options for the upcoming campaigns after having difficult seasons.

Motherwell attacker Theo Bair is being pursued by Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City, according to a Daily Mail report.

Due to their prolonged involvement in a relegation battle, Rovers had a challenging season in 2023–2024.

In the meantime, Bristol City got off to a fairly steady start to the season. With Nigel Pearson’s departure midway through the campaign, Liam Manning assumed leadership of the team.

Consequently, the seasons of the two teams were significantly different. Blackburn won the championship on the last day of play, while the Robins finished 11th with 62 points, 11 points outside of the play-offs.
However, despite their disparate campaigns, it appears that Manning and John Eustace are eager to acquire a new striker to their team, and Bair from Motherwell is on that list.

Blackburn and Bristol City are interested in signing Theo Bair

Theo Bair joined Motherwell on a free transfer last summer, so he has only played for the Scottish team for one season.

The forward arrived in Scotland in January 2022 from Vancouver, where he played for St. Johnstone for eighteen months before to joining Motherwell.

Before relocating to Scotland, the 24-year-old lived most of his life in America, and it wasn’t until this season that the goals started to come in.

The Championship is now showing interest in Bair because of his fantastic play for Motherwell.

The Daily Mail claims that Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers are interested in recruiting Motherwell’s Bair this summer.

In addition to these two teams expressing interest in the striker, the article claims that additional parties have obtained information about Bair.

The article continues by stating that Bair has one year left on his contract and that, considering his performance this year, signing him may cost any interested party £800,000 or more.

Theo Bair’s 2023/24 stats for Motherwell

As previously indicated, Theo Bair has had a memorable 2023–24 season, scoring 13 goals in 33 Scottish Premiership appearances.

The forward ends the season with 15 goals in all competitions after scoring two goals in each of the four Premiership relegation games in addition to his goals in the league.

Considering that the 24-year-old scored just once for St. Johnstone during his tenure there, that is an amazing number. However, he didn’t play much when he was in the United States.

With a full year remaining on his contract, Bair is coming off of a stellar season, and it appears that interest may be growing in front of the summer transfer market.
