Abdullatif Alsaeed reveals reasons for Bristol Rovers season ticket price increases*

Along with other important members of the Bristol Rovers team, Executive Vice President Abdullatif AlSaeed met with a portion of the fan base on Thursday night.

In response to concerns expressed by younger fans regarding the cost of Bristol Rovers season tickets for 2024–2025, Abdullatif AlSaeed stated that excessive age groupings and the difference in price between the East and West Stands were the main causes of some notable price increases.

On Thursday night, the Rovers Executive Vice President addressed fans during the Supporter’s Club Fan Q&A. The panel featured CEO Tom Gorringe, manager Matt Taylor, and new Director of Football George Friend. Season tickets were anticipated to be a hot topic of conversation after many fans expressed their displeasure with prices for next season.

In general, adult ticket prices have not increased much. The biggest change is that the East and West Stands are now part of one section of the stadium instead of being separate, as they were in the past, when seating in the East Stand was more affordable than in the West.

AlSaeed addressed that specific issue by saying, “What transpired in the East and the West [Stands]? When we initially entered the club and looked at the season ticket pricing, our first thought was, “Why is the East cheaper than the West?” Really, there was no response. The East, in our opinion, is the greatest seat in the house.
