Derby County are entering the home straight in their quest for automatic promotion as they head to Bristol Rovers.
Just 10 games are remaining as the Rams chase a top-two finish with the race for automatic promotion currently wide open.
Paul Warne’s side make the trip to the south west on the back of an excellent win over Port Vale which saw Dwight Gayle score his first goal for the club.
Derby did drop to third in midweek as a result of Bolton’s 2-2 draw at Barnsley but Ian Evatt’s side are only above them by a point having played the same number of games.
A win against Rovers would be most welcome although there are injury concerns with Ryan Nyambe out of action. He has a quad injury and it remains to be seen how long he will be out for.
Definitely out is Tyreece John-Jules who has a hamstring injury and is undergoing rehab back at Arsenal. Conor Washington, Jake Rooney, Craig Forsyth, Josh Vickers and top scorer James Collins will also be absent through injury.
Leigh Curtis has taken a look at the team Derby could put out, and has tipped a 3-5-2 formation against Rovers who are currently in mid-table.
