Man arrested in Bristol nightclub murder probe

According to police, the disturbance happened at Moon Street’s Blue Mountain Club.
After a disturbance in a Bristol nightclub resulted in a man’s death, a guy has been placed under arrest on murder suspicion.

Following a disturbance at the Blue Mountain Club on Moon Street in the Stokes Croft neighbourhood of the city at approximately three in the morning on Saturday, a man in his thirties was brought to the hospital, prompting police to open an inquiry.

The man was beaten, according to Avon and Somerset Police, and died from his wounds about two hours later.

The police said on Saturday afternoon that an additional male in his thirties had been taken into custody in relation to the incident.

An assault victim was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, but he passed away at around five in the morning, according to a spokesman.
In relation to the inquiry, several areas have been blocked off, and our inquiries are still ongoing.

“Nevertheless, we can attest that the man in his thirties’ death is being investigated as a homicide.”
