Coach reveals brutal grand final admission..

As part of a mission to gather information abroad, Broncos coach Kevin Walters disclosed that he had a “good bit of time” with Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou.

Walters discussed his encounter with the Australian football coach, who is gaining attention in his first season as a Premier League manager, in an interview with The Courier Mail.

Walters traveled to the United Kingdom to see English rugby team Saracens, as well as Tottenham, Arsenal, and another Premier League team.

Walters remarked, “I had a good bit of time with Ange; he was very generous with his time.”

“Ange was coaching the Melbourne Victory when I met him while I was in Melbourne at the Storm.” He is a genuinely kind man.

Feeling certain that he and the Broncos are headed in the right direction, Walters departed the discussion with Postecoglou.

I truly respect the fact that he has remained true to his values, Walters added.

Fans and the media harshly criticized him in the beginning, saying he wasn’t capable, but he had a lot of faith in his abilities. That will teach me a lot, including the importance of having conviction in your work and upholding your values.

It validated not just my actions but also those of all the coaches and entire Broncos squad.

“With our coaches and roster, we have excellent stability within the club and are headed in the right direction.”

Walters revealed he hasn’t even seen a replay and talked candidly about the heartache he and his squad felt after blowing a 24-8 lead against Penrith in the grand final in October.

After the game, Walters observed, “there was a little bit of disbelief.”

Although I haven’t seen it yet, I want to get down with the players in the New Year and give it a look.

Most of the time, events have a cause behind them. Penrith deserves some credit because they have been a strong team for a while and they performed admirably throughout the final 15 minutes while we were struggling.

A few small mistakes were made, and some things didn’t work out as planned.

That is all there is to it. Never much is there in it.

Walters, who doesn’t like to brood on the past, is enthusiastic about the Broncos’ future even if the team has lost a lot of players.

Representative prop Tom Flegler and hard-running center Herbie Farnworth have departed for the Dolphins, inspiring team captain Kurt Capewell has joined the Warriors, and one of the squad’s greatest players from the losing grand final, Keenan Palasia, is now a Titan.

Although we didn’t want to lose a few players, we have excellent depth in those places, so we have a wonderful chance to replace them with players from our academy, according to Walters.

“We had some time to make up for the first three—’Fleg’ and Herbie—leaving Keenan; we were aware of them for a while.

After giving it careful consideration, we concluded that we could manage losing those three players.

“Fletcher Baker, who joined the Roosters, appears to be a very wise acquisition. He’s a well-mannered young man who puts in a lot of effort and blends in well.
