Having strengthened their team in the final few months of the season, Cardiff City made a late push in the January transfer window.
Due to a tiny roster that was hampered by injuries and exhaustion, the Bluebirds had seen a disastrous run of play. They are ready to start, though, thanks to January arrivals like Nat Phillips, , Josh WilsEthan Horvathon- Esbrand, David Turnbull, and Famara Diedhiou.
In addition, Cardiff was able to clear some roster space with the late departures of players like Andy Rinomhota, Vontae Daley-Campbell, and Ebou Adams. The Bluebirds had a strong January window, but they still have a number of players on their roster whose contracts expire in the summer, so they will either need to work out a new agreement with these players or let them go for free next summer.
Joe Ralls, a midfielder with the Bluebirds, is undoubtedly the most well-known Cardiff player without a contract this summer.
After enrolling in Cardiff’s academy in 2010, the 30-year-old has made 374 first-team appearances for the Bluebirds. The midfield player’s influence in the capital of Wales is evident at Cardiff City Stadium, where he serves as both club captain and captain.
Under Steve Morison’s leadership, Ralls inked a new two-year contract with the team in the summer of 2022, therefore this summer he will become a free agent.
