Celtic 22-year-old returns to training and gives warning to Rangers”

Maik Nawrocki, a defender for Celtic, has resumed full training, according to Brendan Rodgers.

The boss is happy to have the 22-year-old defender back in training after he missed nearly two months due to a hamstring injury.

During the summer transfer window, the Polish youth international signed a five-year contract with the Hoops for a cost of £4.3 million.

Despite having only played in two Scottish Premiership games, he should now be a regular fixture. Rodgers provided updates on more absences as well.

According to Rodgers, “He [Nawrocki] is doing very well and has trained over the last week or so,” as stated on page 49 of the Daily Record.

Thus, the only real players we have left are Liel Abada and Stephen Welsh, who should return in December.

It’s inevitable that you may sustain injuries; that much is certain.

Simply said, I believe that the issue at the start of the season was adjusting to the arrival of new players and trying to settle in.

However, the gamers handled that quite effectively, and everything seems stable now. We are eager to move forward.

Tough games after the break

Celtic has been dominant in the league and have already surpassed Rangers, who are currently having a terrible season.

Following the international break, the Bhoys will play Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday. Hearts now sit fourth in the league, so travelling will not be an easy task.

The three games that follow might be quite difficult. Next week, Rodgers’ team will play Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Considering how bad they’ve been playing in Europe, Celtic will be hoping to improve at Parkhead and defeat the Rojiblancos.

Following that, they have a potentially difficult road match against Hibernian.
