Celtic injury blow as tearful forced off injured”

Celtic have been dealt a serious injury blow with Reo Hatate forced off against Atletico Madrid.

At Parkhead, the Japanese midfielder was replaced after just seven minutes due to injury.

Hatate seemed to be having trouble with his hamstring, which he brought up to the medical personnel when the festivities following Kyogo Furuhashi’s early opener were underway.

Hatate needed treatment from physiotherapists on the pitch a few moments later, and he soon indicated that he would need to be substituted owing to the injury.

After the injury setback, Hatate—a crucial player for Celtic—was visibly upset and appeared heartbroken as he departed the pitch before getting encouragement from manager Brendan Rodgers.

Hatate will be replaced by Paulo Bernardo in the Champions League match at Parkhead.
