Popular Celtic Jersey Worn by Virgil van Dijk Set for Makeover

Footy Headlines has teased Adidas and Celtic are set to bring back a classic Celtic away shirt ten years after its first run out under Nike!

It’s peculiar to see such a tease for what we would imagine would be next season’s away jersey but Footy Headlines put it out there for Celtic fans to chew over.

Is there an outside chance of another St Patrick’s day release shirt next year where the club sold a jersey that would never be worn by the team?

Celtic and Adidas have shared a very lucrative partnership to this point. The club even mentioned the boost in merchandise sales because they’ve been selling less as sale items due to popularity.

The partnership continues to be popular among Celtic fans who have been lapping up the merchandise on offer. From kits, to trainer’s and training gear, most things have gone down very well.

If Adidas can come up with their own version of this instant classic from Nike, a jersey worn by Virgil van Dijk, Scott Brown and Samaras among others, will be another winner.

Celtic are back in action this week after the final international break of the year. A hectic run between now and Christmas will shape how we head into the new year.
