BY THE TIME I LEAVE,’ BRENDAN’S BATTLE CRY*

As he gets his Celtic players ready for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup fifth round matchup against St Mirren in Paisley, Brendan Rodgers has issued a personal rallying call.

The head coach of the Hoops stated that it is impossible for the winners to finish their second stint without a championship.
First time around, Rodgers led the team to SEVEN consecutive titles, including two exceptional trebles, making him a serial winner.
On August 20, in just his third League Cup match since returning to replace Spurs-bound Ange Postecoglou, the holders lost to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park, putting an end to the incredible record of domestic success.

The 51-year-old Irishman is under pressure, and there is no room for error against Stephen Robinson’s team today, where a victory is a need in order to advance to the competition’s quarterfinals, with the match’s title match scheduled for Hampden on the legendary day of May 25.

The champions, who are currently leading on goal differential despite Philippe Clement’s team having a game in hand and hosting managerless Ross County at Ibrox in the middle of the week, have also struggled in their attempt to win a twelfth title in 13 years.

When asked whether it would be unfathomable to not win a trophy, Aaron Rodgers responded, “Oh aye,” in an interview with the Sunday Mail. All eyes will be on Paisley for the 2 p.m. kickoff. Not only because of what

happened before, but because of my own mindset now in being here again.

“That’s not what the supporters demand and it’s not what the club demands. It’s certainly not what I demand.

“No, I’m here to win. And by the time I leave here, I hope I’ve won a lot.”
