Celtic boss confirm14 players available on pre-contracts including Newcastle United and Leicester stars

The January transfer window is open but Celtic and Rangers are likely to have one eye on the summer as they plan ahead for the future.

Every year, clubs rush to finish their transfer business during the January window. Both Celtic and Rangers will be keeping a close eye on the future and any potential roster adjustments.

It’s always a challenging task midway through a season, but Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers and his opposite number, Philippe Clement, will be looking to move certain players on this month and replace them with added quality.

In describing the challenges of closing deals in this window, Rodgers mentioned his unsuccessful attempt to sign former West Ham United captain Declan Rice during his first stint at Parkhead earlier this week.

Many elite athletes from throughout Europe and beyond are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents.

4. Wing back, Hans Hateboer of Atlanta BC The Dutch wide player, who is currently sidelined due to a muscle injury, caught Inter Milan’s attention a few years ago.
